How do I access my storage unit?
Once you complete the rental process you will receive an email with the combination code to the lock that is on your unit (Not applicable to J&K Mini Storage location). Please place the facility lock within the unit and replace with your own personal lock.
*If you rent a climate controlled unit that is located on the interior of the building there will be a separate code in your email to access the interior of the building.
Do I need my own lock?
Yes, tenants are required to provide their own lock. Please place facility lock within the unit.
How do I pay for my unit?
Online: 1.Go to mychoiceselfstorage.com.
2.Choose your facility from the drop down menu.
3.Click- Make Payment/Log In. Enter your login and password.
4.Click- Make Payment. Enter information to make payments/update info.
5.Click- Active Payment Account to sign up for recurring billing.

What steps do I take to vacate my unit?
Month-To-Month Rental Agreements require a 30 day written notice to vacate. Notice can be given through our website, email, or by mail. Once your items are removed and the unit is empty, remove your personal lock from the outside of the unit and replace with facility lock.
Do I have 24/7 access to my storage unit?
Yes, all of our facilities allow 24/7 access to the units.
Standard Storage: A secure drive-up unit with concrete floors.
Standard Storage w/ Electric: A secure drive-up unit with concrete floors and an electrical outlet within the unit (15 amp maximum).
Climate Controlled Storage: An temperature controlled, secure unit with concrete floors. Climate control reduces humidity and decreases the effects of extreme weather conditions. Sensitive electronics and any items made of organic material (wood, paper, cotton, wool, furnishings, bedding, etc.) will likely deteriorate in a unit that is not climate controlled.
*Temperatures are maintained at 40 - 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Outdoor Storage: An open area with no protection from the elements; this storage space is meant for cars, boats, and recreational vehicles.
ADA Storage: A secure drive-up unit with concrete floors and a keypad entry system.
Can I use a storage unit as a work space?
No. The units are meant for storage purposes only.
What size are the doors to your storage units?
The standard size is 8 ft. tall x 9 ft. wide, however, some locations feature taller and/or wider units to store large items like boats, campers, etc. Please see the Site Map (located on each location page) for more information.
